After Mukesh leaves for America, Om and Pappu hatch a revenge plan to take revenge on Shanti for killing Mukesh. Om manages to get hold of her photograph which Mukesh saw, and lures her out to an empty sea. He sends her into the sea, knowing that Nida will rescue Shanti. Shanti, however, is forced in the sea when Nida attempts to save her as she is trapped in a lion-trap. Om and Pappu manage to save Nida but, upon returning from the sea, Shanti and Nida arrive and help Nida to get home. Although Om had succeeded in making Shanti believe that she was alive and that she was made to take revenge on Mukesh, she and Nida see Om and Pappu while they watch Om Shanti Om through a crack in the wall. Om is angered by this and tells Pappu to kill Shanti by throwing her a shawl. Nida however tells Pappu that murder will have fatal consequences for him. Pappu has enough wit, and plans a change of plan, by dropping a coin through the crack and taking the blame on himself for the murder. Om goes to Shanti’s home, and confronts her about the coin, but instead of the coin, he says that he forgives her and gives her a shawl. This confuses Shanti as she thinks it is the coin which Pappu had thrown, pretending to be her. At this point, Om realizes that she is not the one who had sent the coin, but it was Mukesh himself, as he had feared that she would be troubled by Mukesh’s ghost, and had that coin dropped so as to frighten away Mukesh when he tries to look for his dead wife and son. But then, Mukesh dies by a car accident a few days later.
Om’s family celebrates the birth of a baby boy as Om makes an announcement that he has bought a clay idol of the infant’s birth. Although Om is happy for his family, he later tells his family to be careful as they will be dealing with a new ghost. Om tells Pappu that he will not let anyone beat him twice and it is a chance for him to take revenge on Shanti and Mukesh.
