Basically, the main update is better than the minor update. While the interface changes are nice and they did a good job with the spot removal, it’s a very basic feature. So the new features are nice and will help photographers.

One of the more useful features in the new version of Photoshop is the ability to create a new document set for your files. Not only will this help you organize your files differently, but it will let you use the same template or imported template across multiple projects.

Starting with version 13.3, Photoshop has introduced new options for blending and masking. Like other tools in Photoshop, it has replaced the old methods and made our old habits a thing of the past.

I just hope that the full versions will be using the new features later on. For example, when I asked about the new measures tool in Photoshop for Windows, UX designer David Gammel suggests that it should be moved to the Mac version, since it’s more efficient to place coordinates on a Mac.
